The 4th of July is upon us once again and the Inland Empire is not falling short of any Independence Day celebrations! Residents of the Inland Empire will not have to travel far to enjoy the fireworks spectacular of 2016. Most of the major cities in San Bernardino and Riverside County will be hosting a celebratory event.  If you’re looking for the best places in the Inland Empire to watch the fireworks on the 4th of July, we’ve compiled a list of the Top 8 places to ring in Independence Day 2016!  Note:  times are subject to change.  Before you go, be sure to check to see if there are admission and/or parking fees!


Big Bear Lake, California

Big Bear Lake features one of Southern California largest 4th of July fireworks display. This spectacular can be seen from all the public parks and various parts of the entire Big Bear area. Fireworks Display begins at 8:45pm.


Chino, California

Location: Ruben S. Ayala Park

The Chino Fireworks Spectacular will be presented on Saturday July 2nd, 2016 at the Ruben S. Ayala Park. Park festivities begin at 3:00pm with carnival rides, games, food, and live music! There will be a tribute to the local men and women of the Armed Forces. Tickets will be selling day of for carnival rides and games. Be sure to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and picnics to enjoy an evening in the park. *Alcohol prohibited in the park. Fireworks  Spectacular Starts at 9:00pm.


Fontana, California 

Location: Fontana High School Stadium

Fontana High School will host this year’s 4th of July Celebration. This Independence Day Celebration will include entertainment for the entire family! Guest will enjoy live bands, novelty vendors, and activities for children, food, and a 20 minute firework show to conclude the evening. Admission is $4 per person.  Tickets will not be sold at the gate, so be sure to purchase tickets in advance. Ticket will be available for sale starting June 13th, 2016 at various locations throughout Fontana. Stadium and lawn seating will be available for the fireworks display.


Jurupa Valley, CA

Location: Patriot High School

The Jurupa Valley’s 19th annual fireworks show will be held Sunday, July 3rd, 2016.  This event will feature live music, food, games, and general family. Doors for this event open at 4:00pm and fireworks spectacular starts at 9:00pm.

Rancho Cucamonga, California

Fun filled night of entertainment for the entire family at the Rancho Cucamonga Epicenter. Home of the Quakes minor league baseball team.  This is a Lisa DiNoto Group favorite! Tickets for this event will not be sold at the door the day of, so please be sure and pre-plan to get tickets in advance. All tickets are available for pick up at the Lewis Family Playhouse in Rancho Cucamonga (North of the Victoria Gardens Shopping Mall).

San Bernardino, California

The Inland Empire 66ers minor league baseball team of San Bernardino will be hosting the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes for this year’s independence day showdown! Baseball, hot dogs, and fireworks, what a way to celebrate this 4th of July in the Inland Empire! The baseball game begins at 7:05pm and the firework spectacular will begin at the conclusion of the game. This is a family friendly event. Ticket prices for this game vary. Upland, California

The City of Upland, CA will be hosting their annual Independence Day Celebration and Fireworks Spectacular at Upland High School. Activities will start at 6:00pm, including live music, a kids-zone, and snack bar.

Children ages 2 and under will be admitted FREE of charge.

Yucaipa, California

Location: Yucaipa High School

The City of Yucaipa will be hosting three full days of family fun entertainment starting Saturday, July 2nd through Monday, July 4th. Guest can enjoy carnival rides, foods, and live entertainment. Doors open daily at 12:00pm. Fireworks show will start at 9:15pm on July 4th.
